Key entreprenurial lessons from a DC-native who moved from Washington to Argentina and remade his life in wine, real estate and luxury resorts
Overview
We live in a global world where developing nations hold tremendous potential for entrepreneurs with the skills to live and work in a foreign environment. It’s also a historic moment for executives, but only if they know how to conduct business in different cultures and countries. This book tells the success stories of ten Europeans and North Americans, including the author, who started businesses in Mendoza, Argentina, during the past decade. In doing so, it reveals the key lessons on what it takes to seize the unique opportunities for personal and professional growth offered by emerging markets like Argentina.
Reader feedback:
Practical, well-written, enjoyable to read. He extracts broad principles of success from the specific stories of 10 entrepreneurs in Mendoza. The stories bring to life these principles and show how people with very different personalities make it work in their own way. The principles are super relevant to entrepreneurship abroad (not just Argentina) and really are helpful in areas beyond entrepreneurship.
